We advise against burying this urn model, as although it is biodegradable, the degradation process could take several months or even years.

The PLA filament made from crushed oak wood fibres is a natural, biobased filament, free from endocrine disruptors.

PLA is a bioplastic that is both biobased AND biodegradable. Typically, bioplastics are either one or the other, but rarely both at the same time.
PLA is classified as a 100% biobased plastic, made from renewable resources, such as here, oak wood residues.
